Pure Rawk sponsors "TEAZER"

Pure Rawk is proud to be associated with a new glam DJ night in Oxford called "Teazer".

A "decadent night of glam, sleaze and trashy rock n' roll" hosted by DJ Foxy Roze is at The Gloucester Arms, Friars Entry.

Playing loads of the stuff you've heard and rocked out to before (maybe even air guitared to or pole danced to) to the cream of breakthrough sleazy glam and hard rock n'roll. "We (Pure Rawk & FR)
both love plugging new and unsigned bands. I want to help promote them at Teazer by playing their tracks and giving them much deserved exposure" says Foxy Roze. On the night you can expect "The well known, spandex clad hairsprayed bands of the 80's Motley, Poison and Ratt to newer punkier, sleazier bands like Vains of Jenna, Trashlight Vision and Crank County Daredevils. I try to mix the commercial hits with more obscure bands to keep it unpredictable and hopefully introduce people to some new music. Also there's the new bands. Patchwork Grace, Disarm and The Pleasures are my current faves to play!" Roze enthuses.

Teazer is 8PM-1AM on Friday 19th Oct, Fri 9th Nov, Sat 8th Dec (a pirate night) and every first Friday from the new year. Go to www.myspace.com/teazer_glam for more information!
